The SunVac
4900 Horizontal Form, Fill and Seal machine is a Mulit-Vac style machine where
a rigid or soft tray is vacuum formed from the base web, product is inserted
into the trays and then a top web is married and sealed to close the tray. The
machine contains an AMACO DV-210 flexographic printer to print the top web with
one color graphics.
The
Machine is 7 meters long by 1.5 meter wide by 2.25 meters tall and is shipped in
4 sections wired for 208/240v three phase 50/60 cycles power ready to plug in.
Can also be set up for 460V. Requires minimum 50 psi compressed air.

indexing, 2 pre-settable speeds – Controlled by Magnetek GPD 333 frequency
controller and driven by 1 ½ hp AC motor. Actual cycle speeds are dependent on
materials and depth of tray but the general speeds are 7 and 9 cycles per
minute.

Previous full production usage – used to package wound care products (bandages, dressings, pads, rolls) of various sizes in both rigid tray and flexible tray configurations. Top sheets printed on line. Excellent condition. Machine was placed back in operation 2016 after refurbishment including new controls and run only for samples. Several sets of dies included (see list below).
